Downtown @ HiSAM

My old co-workers and I try to get together for lunch at least once every couple of months. It was my turn to choose the restaurant, and I wanted to go somewhere that my girlfriends have never been to before. My choice -Downtown. For the few of you who may not know, the owner/chef is the same person who owns Town in Kaimuki. He are known for using all fresh, locally grown ingredients.

Roast beef panini sandwich

Half sandwich (roast beef panini) and soup combo.

The Ahi club - one of their popular items on the menu

Panna cotta

Lemon tart - a great recommendation by our waiter

We all enjoyed the food, ambiance, and service, and will definitely be back.

I've read about HiSAM so many times in the paper, but I think you've clinched it. Everything looks awesome. And I love lemon tart.
