Morio's Sushi Bistro

I recently had one of the best sushi experiences ever! It was at a place called Morio's Sushi Bistro. It used to be located in Waikiki, and now thankfully it's located on S. King Street in a spot that is very accessible. It only seats 18-19 customers but at least there is plenty of free customer parking in the back.

Most people I know have never heard of this place and I was a little hesitant to blog about it because I consider it one of Oahu's best kept secrets!

Reservations are a must and be sure to let them know whether you're going to order the omakase (chef's choice) or order off the menu.

- most nigiri orders come with 3 pieces for the price of what many places charge for just two pieces!

- the pieces of fish in the sushi are huge

- it's BYOB, and sharing your alcohol with the chef will greatly enhance your dining experience
